Automated scrapers run daily against regulatory databases, RSS feeds, and news search engines. Results are deduplicated, keyword-filtered, and queued for human review. A real person reads every item and selects 10-20 for the weekly digest. No AI-generated filler, no algorithm deciding what's important.

Why "First Ground"

The name comes from the idea that the most valuable intelligence in environmental infrastructure comes from being first on site - before the press release, before the industry magazine, before everyone else knows a project is moving. And "ground" because that's where this industry lives: in the soil, the waste stream, the regulatory filing, the permit application.
